HOW TO WEAR YOUR OMORFIE HAIR EXTENSIONS THIS MELBOURNE CUP 2017

Can you believe it’s already time to start chatting about hairstyles for Melbourne Cup 2017? Where has this year gone! Can’t say we’re complaining though because summer is coming and we can’t say no to a cocktail with girlfriends!

Australia’s most prestigious annual horse race Melbourne Cup is just around the corner! With it comes a series of events and celebrations for race goers. We wanted to share our favourite hair styles for the races but even if you aren’t joining in on the festivities, you can still take them for a ride.

Whether you’re celebrating at a luncheon, or cocktail event, Melbourne Cup is about glamming up. Most importantly, it’s about accessorising your hair with the ultimate fascinator, hat or headband. We’ve got our favourite Omorfie hair extension looks for each hair accessory below to make sure you turn heads this Melbourne Cup 2017.

1. The Hat

If you’re wearing a beautiful hat this Melbourne Cup we need to make sure your hair is still seen. Add extra length from under your hat with the Omorfie extensions. They can be styled with any heat utensils so why not add a soft wave to them!

Check out our messy wave tutorial here by blogger Chloe using the ENA Omorfie Flat Iron.

2. The Fascinator

The fascinator gives you a little more room to play with hairstyles and we love a voluminous ponytail! Think Blake Lively in Gossip Girl. Perfection.

Add volume to your ponytail with the Omorfie extensions. Psst, here’s an insider tip for you! Clip the Omorfie hair extension weft upside down so that it sits flush and stays hidden when you tie your hair up. We find flipping your hair upside down, then clipping in the extensions whilst upside down helps.

3. The Headband

When we think of headbands for Melbourne Cup we think Dolce and Gabbana at Milano Fashion Week this year. Sigh. Stunning jewel encrusted headbands that would make even Queen B drool. Because the headband can be a little structured we think a softer hairstyle would suit best. Add a slight wave to your Omorfie hair extensions and loosely fix into a low bun. Or leave it out to hang around the headband in soft undone curls.

Whichever hairstyle you choose to rock this Melbourne Cup 2017, we have only two rules:

  1. Have an amazing time babes, you deserve it!
  2. Don’t forget to treat your Omorfie Extensions with Care at the end of the day by taking them out and putting them back in a special place. We want you to enjoy many events to come with them!

Love Omorfie xx
